Rural Generation Ltd are specialists in the sourcing, drying and grading of wood fuel. The company has been supplying quality wood chip to clients for over 6 years. Due to the relative newness of the biomass heating market and the varying client base, Rural Generation Ltd offers a number of energy provision models. These are Fuel, Heat or Energy Contracts.

 

Right....Dried willow woodchip - typically 10% moisture.

Fuel Supply
Contract Normally 2 year contract. Price reviewed after 1 yr. Currently 5 contracts in operation
 
Heat Contract
Client incurs CAPEX of and owns boiler & kit. RGL fuel, maintains service & removes ash. Contracts typically 5 yrs. Price per KwH agreed with client. Price index linked to a bundle of agreed indices. Cost savings to traditional fossil fuel guaranteed. Guaranteed quality & security of fuel supply. Client’s mainly private sector.

Energy Services Contract
RGL incurs CAPEX of and owns boiler & kit. RGL fuel, maintains service & removes ash. Contracts typically 10 to 25 yrs. Price per KwH agreed with client. Price index linked to a bundle of agreed indices. Cost savings to traditional fossil fuel guaranteed. Contract avoids CAPEX Guaranteed quality & security of fuel supply. Client’s mainly public sector.
