CATfire Boilers range from 180kW to 500kW and run on both Chip & Pellets.

The strength of this boiler is its price, size and functionality. This is as good as it gets in “Commerical Biomass Boiler”. It comes at a great price and it has a relatively small footprint which greatly assists in retrofits. It also has the all the safety features of a boiler twice its price.

Modelled on the KWB under stoker burning, this technology is best suited to commercial installations like hotels, nursing homes, swimming pools and large domestics.

Rural Generation has installed five of these boilers over the last year, ranging from a 500kw running a Council swimming pool to 180kw providing heat to an animal sanctuary in Northern Ireland.

CATfire regulation controls burning automatically, according to required efficiency,
from maintenance of an incandescent bed to full efficiency, in automatic output stages
.

The highest safety standards are achieved by triple
fire protection to prevent burn back.
 - Fully automatic control ensuring easy for operation
 - Automatic cleaning of the heat exchanger and ash
   removal
 - High efficiency low emission values
 - Wood based heating is ecologically desirable,
   safe, comfortable and affordable
 - Adaptable according to customer requirements
 - These wood chip/pellet boilers are the result of
more than 12 years of development work.
 - Reliable, safe, comfortable and most importantly
   economical heat with CATfire.

Description of the boilers from 180-500kW

Fully automatic boiler for biomass burning (i.e. chips, pellets, of max. dimensions 30 x 30 mm. The boilers are supplied with a direct discharge of fuel from containers to boilers. This model has an exchanger located near the heating chamber.

There are two models available: 125 – 250 kW (125, 150, 180, 220 and 250 kW) and 300 – 500 kW (300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 kW), in two designs according to the type of fuel, size of container, conveyer system, etc. This type of boiler is equipped with a high-temperature combustion chamber with a ring burner with primary, secondary and tertiary air inlets controlled by air fans. The boilers are equipped with multi-level independent safety systems, a device for the discharge of ash into the ashtray and they have automatic cleaning of heat exchange surfaces.
